Insert style safety screens one of feature an integral locking end that uses our field-proven insert principle of controlled expansion during installation to lock and retain the Mesh screen in place. A pre-installed expander pin is simply pressed into the Filter screens body, expanding the locking grooves into the wall of the installation hole to retain the component.
